Cookies and storage

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies — the kind a site needs to work at all. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party profiling, so there is nothing here for you to consent to or refuse. We simply tell you what is kept.

A small session cookie remembers this visit so your reading survives a refresh and so the daily rhythm of one reading a day can be honoured. If you sign in, an authentication cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also remembers, on your own device, where you were in the ritual — so a refresh does not send you back to the dark room.

So the room can be made kinder, we also count — anonymously — which steps of the ritual a visit reaches and how long each step takes. Only step names and durations are kept, tied to the same anonymous session cookie. No name, no account, no IP address, and none of the words you write. Nothing is shared with any advertiser or analytics company, and these records are erased after ninety days.

What a reading keeps

When a reading is drawn, the question you wrote, what you said you saw and felt in the card, the card itself and Moira's reply are stored so the reading can be revisited and shared by link. If you are signed in, the reading is attached to your account and appears in your calendar of past readings. If you are not signed in, it is attached only to the anonymous session cookie.

Your words are sent to the AI model that composes the reading. They are not sold, and they are not used to advertise to you.

Erasing what is kept

Clearing your browser's cookies and site data for this site erases the local journal and the session cookie, and the room will not know you again. If you have an account and want your saved readings deleted, ask and they will be removed.

Payments

There are none. Nothing on this site is sold, and no card details are ever asked for, collected, or stored. Every reading — including the weekly deeper spread — is free.
